Any suggestions??
We are from the "bathe twice a week in winter, more frequently in summer- camp"

I would think my toddler's approx. Shoulder length hair would knot and tangle in front and sides, like from food... But it's always the back!!! And SO knotted.

I shampoo and then put in conditioner and comb and comb while she screams Sad

Any suggestions to make this less painful?

I guess suggestion one would be to bathe more frequently?
Any more?
Thanks!

I should try.

Brush every morning and each evening before bed. Also before the shower and after the shower. Use detangler spray as needed.

Yes, brush every day, at least twice a day.

Brush every day and use toddler conditioner.
Also, brush while still in the shower with the conditioner because it will hurt less and use one of those brushes for wet hair.

Google Tangle Teezer brush. I actually bought a cheap knockoff, but it's just a plastic brush with bendy plastic bristles that's goes through the hair more gently.

Thank you!
I've been brushing her hair daily consistently, and it's made a world of a difference!! No longer crazy tangled and painful!
