Monitoring:
I’m not familiar in how to get these things done-
But we need to let them know that they cannot discontinue the sensor tape!! This is ridiculous and will not work 
The alternative will be for the insurance to cover 30-50 sensor probes for replacement monthly like in the hospital ... and that will probably not happen.
So, who is in and how do we do this??

What exactly are they discontinuing?
Isn't the probe and the tape the same thing? What r u using different from the hospital?

Im referring to the replacement tape or stickers- whatever you call it. We get 4 sensors a month but the tape doesn’t last long and depending on how much were monitoring can need replacement a couple of times a day! In the hospital they just change out the entire probe/ sensor as often as needed.
If we won’t have these stickers/tape we’ll have to play around with different tape to keep the probe in place and it might mess with the reading and just alarm sensor off non stop...

How would a gemach help if the company is discontinuing it?
Not that this is a typical item for a gemach to have anyway...

I think you might be talking to the wrong community since it seems that very few people here are even aware of the product in question.
Why do these stickers have any advantage over something like regular micropore tape?

Medical gemachim often have members who have access to information that the average consumer may not. You never know where a shaliach will come from.

Our hospital changes the tape also, not the whole thing. Not sure how u can stop a co from discontinuing a product. This has been an ongoing problem with medical products, oral and iv medications for a number of years now. I haven't heard any way to stop this.
