What should my 1 year old be eating for breakfast?!
She doesn’t like oatmeal, eggs, or anything blended.
She will only eat herself- refuses so let me hold the spoon
I need ideas!

Plain wholefat yogurt and fruit? Delicious and nutritious. If you can get Greek yogurt, all the better and even less messy because it's thicker.

Best served before dressing the baby.

My toddler is a bit older but she loves a sandwich for breakfast. We do oatmeal/yogurt for after school snacks

Just any food. Doesn't have to be a traditional breakfast food per se
You can give her chicken, or vegetable soup, or rice

Yogurt with a straw (or a squeeze yogurt)
When desperate, I’ve given plain cereal in a bowl and milk in a cup to a toddler who had to eat themselves.
Pancakes/waffles
Scrambled eggs can be eaten by hand if need be.
Grilled cheese

I feel you, OP. My 1 year old is super picky and pretty much survives on bamba, those gerber stars, and he loves cholent and soup veggies so I try and give him that kind of thing for supper. but breakfast and lunch I always find challenging. He will have one bite of yogurt/weetabix etc and then refuse to eat anymore. and oatmeal he wont go near.

Two options: 1. Open cup. My baby loves this. Put a little liquid in to start, and hold it to her mouth

2. Drink from a cup or water bottle and then, when she notices and wants it too, give her some from your cup. Everything we do is exciting for them!
