My Mil said he didn't want to be dressed up as a girl. Therefore the tears and tantrums.

Ok, I don't like that then. And I wouldn't like it if she forced him to wear any other costume.

Yes I did just that. DS2 had adorable wavy hair. I dressed him up as a kallah with makeup and earrings too. His older brother was the chassan. It was super adorable in my opinion.

My friend has twin girls and one Purim when they were about 2 she dressed one as a chassan and the other as a kallah. The kallah loved frilly dresses and the chassan didn't like dresses, so it worked perfectly. Gorgeous photos.

30+ years ago I dressed my 2.5 y.o. boy as a girl and my 1.5 year old girl as a boy.

My DH is a Talmid Chocham and had no problem with it.

But I dont think I would do it today with the sickness of Transgender.

30 years ago I never heard of transgender.

To me, this is disgusting.
Especially nowadays with so much toivah going around. I really think it's a problem.

I don't understand. I agree that the 'trans trenders' are a problem in society but I don't know why that means it's worse now to do this.

Dressed my 2.5 year old in his older sisters old shabbos outfit. He was comfortable and looked cute. Hi
I did have people ask me why I didn’t dress “her” up for Purim.
Child is a teenager and has no issue when looking at pictures.

There is no gender confusion in my erliche world. This doesn't exist here.
I guess for more modern people this is a real problem.

I think the opposite. Normalize girls having some masculinity and boys having some femininity. That's the truth. Putting kids in such rigid boxes only exacerbates this problem. That's just my opinion.

Parents ensure small kids have kosher foods like themselves.
There is formula for babies which is CY and parents buy it specifically.
So why is cross dressing for small kids OK?

They're below the age of chinuch, that's why they can wear anything. As I understand it, kosher is considered to go beyond chinuch, many believe it affects the soul. But we are still more lax on kosher for babies. Many of us use the same tray for milk and meat and don't enforce waiting.

Many small girls don't have the understanding of sitting tznius etc. It's almost impossible because of young age. So instead it could be better to have pants instead of showing a diaper under a skirt.
On purim there are plenty of costumes to chose from.

Most traits shouldn't really be labeled as masculine and feminine. Rigid gender roles are a central part of the "woke" attitude toward gender. "Your gender doesn't have this trait, so you must be faking it or there's something wrong with you" and "your assigned gender doesn't have this trait, so you must be the opposite gender or nonbinary" are two views based on rigid gender roles.

Some are lax on dairy for health reasons if medically necessary (never heard otherwise)
Lax on tzinius for comfort/ warmth of a baby girl.
There Is no medical or health reason to dress a baby boy in dress.

I also have no problem with a girl bing a fire women or police women bec women can be those jobs. A boy should never be a kallah - unless that is what you want for him later in life.
