I got home from work yesterday feeling a bit under the weather. Took an at home test that came back positive. I have some symptoms (fatigue, nausea, headache). I had someone offer to come to my house and take care of bedtime, they stayed over and got the kids out to school today as well.
Where do I go from here? Are the kids going to catch it regardless?

Thanks, I'm just not sure until when it's appropriate that they stay? Also, I think my 5 year old is getting anxious only seeing me masked from my room door.
What do others do?

And let them potentially get sick, and have to be home for a while?

I'm my opinion yes. Obviously try not to kiss them etc but care for them regular.

You were catchy 2 days before you got symptoms your kids were already exposed. Every person I know had the flu or Covid or both in there house this season. Some get sick some don’t.

Agreed, so should I be keeping them all home now, even though they feel fine?

Call their schools. Dr shanik in Lakewood says if they have antibodies they are fine to go. Every school/dr will tell you something else. My dh had covid and my kids who were feeling fine went to school (as per the school and our pediatrician) BH the kids never got covid
