There are 2 men here from Lowes installing a new dishwasher. Am I supposed to tip them? Do they expect tips?

Sometimes it is geographical difference. Not right or wrong can be location dependent.
Where I have lived for decades no one does this. Not an insulated community and mixed religions etc very diverse.
Nice gesture to do so.
Different countries and different states tip for different things in varying amounts.
