What can you play while resting on the couch? I need to rest a lot and my 6 year old likes lots of Mommy time.

We are currently playing ,"I'm thinking of something and it starts with a (letter)"

Read books, neat board games like guess who or mastermind. Can you pull up a small table and chair and have your child sit there? Then they can color or craft while they interact with you.

I spy
Games like spot it, mancala can be played with you both sitting on the couch and the game in between
Can you put a table in front of you and she sits on a chair and you can play other board games or do crafts?

How do you play opposite? Make rhymes as in you say a word and the other person has to find a rhyme or make sentences?

Whose birthdays is whatever month etc

War, go fish, old maid or any card game...he can sit on the floor and be "dealer" if you are lying on the sofa

You guys just take turns stating opposites

What is the opposite of young?
Or just go back and forth.
We go the same with rhyming words

And see who can go the longest

Play Simon says. You can have him be a little silly too if just talking is too much. Simon says roar like a lion

Play mother may I. Let me see you take one Giant step. Be creative

You can draw letters on his back and he has to guess the letter.

Hot & cold.

You think of an object. He needs to find it. As he gets closer he gets hot. As he moves Away he gets cold. Use lots of adjectives to describe the temperature
