No. My baby is 16 months with only 2 teeth. They see if there's no teeth by 18 months, check it out.

My first one was a late teether too! (And no, this did not mean nursing was less dangerous or that she had a smaller range of solids she could eat. People have strange ideas.)

My dd got 2 teeth at 7 months old, and her next tooth at 13 months. She still has slightly fewer teeth than her friends (at 22 months) but she is catching up. Not a concern.

Nope, don't be concerned. Most of my kids got their first teeth between 12 and 13 months. One of them got his first tooth at 18 months. And my current baby got her first tooth at 8 months. Do not be concerned.

Not at all. None of mine had more at that age. The dentist told me the later they come in the stronger they are.

I don't know how true this is as a rule, but when I voiced this concern I was told that teeth that come in later tend to be stronger.
Bli ayin hara, my grown kids whose teeth came out later seem to have inherited my husbands great genetic teeth, rarely a cavity in their entire childhood, instead of the terrible teeth on my side (cavities every year, despite excellent teeth hygene). Here's hoping this proves true for you too!
