There is a "basket" of covered drugs that every kupa has to provide, though some might give better coverage than others.

You can email this organization, which you might find helpful in general.

What about calling the insurance companies in israel and asking them ? All I can tell you from my experience is that when ds went to israel he had to take his medicine from here but he got insurance that covered pre existing condition (that didn't have a relapse of 18 months). B''h everything was fine and no coverage was needed. We know someone in israel who has a similar condition and some of her medications were covered and some were not (they were very expensive though)

Here is meuhedet's list of something with medications.
I don't really understand it, but if you're med is listed here, maybe Bill more and ask an ima in israel for help

In israel insurances are
Meuhedet
Clalit
Leumit
Maccabi

Similar but each have their own rules. Dine have more coverage in certain areas, etc

Somehow that link didn't work.

Try this
https://www.meuhedet.co.il/en/.....edet/

Go to the top corner orange bars and click on rights and policies

Click on sefer terufot(final icon)

I don't know how to decipher what it's saying, but it's saying something LOL

The best thing to do is ask people who live in Israel about the specific medication and the specific condition.
My friend's child has a specific medical issue and she researched and found that Maccabi is the best kupah for that so they chose Maccabi when they made aliyah.

The Shira Pransky Project is great and can probably help you.
Good luck!
