I agree that health care workers should have been protected from federal vaccine mandates.
But because Federal Government "funds" hospitals through Medicaid and Medicare,
they can FORCE people to vaccinate.
That is why Socialism = Slavery
As soon as you are dependent on Federal $$$, you are a Federal Slave.

Of course Psaki is spinning it as "employers should still do the right thing" in terms of enforcing it.
I told my husband that if my employer requires the booster, I'm quitting (I have a business idea in mind)

Employers don't enforce OSHA standards, and that's not what she said.
Employers can have their own policies and enforce them re: COVID vaccines.
This court ruling did not delegitimize that. This court ruling held that the current legislated acts regarding executive powers and OSHA don't enable the executive branch (ie. biden admin) to mandate this or, by extension, OSHA to enforce it.
It didn't rule that vaccine mandates from any angle are unconstitutional.
Congress can also change the related acts such that these things could be enforced by OSHA and via an executive order.

Sad that roberts and kavanaugh voted it is okay to force healthcare workers to test or vaccinate.

Why isn't this discrimination against healthcare workers? Why are they still forced to vaccinate? |
I would think they would also have the option of testing, right?

No, I believe they do not, unless it's a medical or religious accomodation.

No such option at this time if a healthcare facility receives payments from Medicaid or Medicare.

Because they pretend to be constitutional judges.

With the caveat that it doesn't apply to those who work remotely, and those covered by medical or religious accommodations.

No. This is only related to the mandate from the federal government being implemented for businesses with 100+ employees via OSHA enforcement.
NYC mandates are a separate matter.
