My almost 9 month old has been having a rough time the past week. She's happy during the day, but the evening/night is difficult. She doesn't want to be held, doesn't want to be put down, doesn't want to go to sleep, doesn't want to play. We usually follow her lead, although we keep the lights off at night, and she's been happy to be supported to sleep when she's tired, in the past. She's also crying a lot more, which isn't like her. She doesn't have any sick symptoms- no runny nose, fever, she's clear eyed. Is this just the 9 month regression? And does it get easier?
I feel so bad that we don't know how to make her happy.

My bottle fed babies experienced a 'growth spurt' of some sort at that age and needed me to start them on solids or larger bottles. Your baby may be hungry/need more food to be satisfied than up until now.
