Playgroup had 2 days off on chanukah. Now they informed me that they'll be having 3 full days off for mid winter in a few weeks. Is this regular for playgroups in Brooklyn?

Do most places have 3 full weekdays? I thought 2 was standard for preschools. Why more for playgroup? Or are preschools also having 3 days?

Many had more than 2 for chanuka.

Lol yup.
We had fri, mon and Tues last year.
This year, DC is in school, so fri-mon.
Playgroup is for working parents, I don't get the constant vacay!

My daughter is having off 4 days. I'm annoyed because I work and don't have off then. But nothing to do about it.

I have a playgroup. I follow the local girls school schedule. That's the schedule my daughters are on and I opened my playgroup with the plan of being on their schedules, without working in a school. This information is public knowledge from the time people sign up with me. If it doesn't work for them they don't have to send. Sounds super frustrating though if you didn't know this before sending.

I think 2.5 days is standard.
Wednesday- Friday, or Friday-Tuesday. 1.5 days or 2 days is better but up to 2.5 is somewhat acceptable.

My son’s playgroup follows my daughters preschool. They’re both having off Thursday-Tuesday. And that’s after having Thursday-Monday off for Chanukah.
