Looking for a friendly frum community that has OOT values (meaning, not steeped in materialism or externals) but has strong Torah leadership that is steeped in emunah. Community must also trend conservative politically/socially and not be covid-crazy. Need good Torah school options. Less urban is better and no crime-plagued areas.

I know, I know, it doesn’t seem to exist in America Sad
Most OOT communities tend to be pretty liberal, especially when it comes to covid.

Cleveland fits as well. There are different circles in town that run either more liberal or conservative. And the frum areas are safe, not near the crime.

South Bend, Indiana! We're basically "done with Covid" most people have had it already, there are still a few people who wear masks, but it's very few. There aren't "options" with regard to schools, but we have elementary, middle and BY high school and Yeshiva Gedola. There's a fair mix of different kinds of Orthodox but I can't think of anyone who's house I wouldn't eat at.

I used to live there and in Cleveland Heights you will have very low level ghetto people as your neighbors. If you are ok with your children hearing f words as they walk down the street, its a great place for that.

I had thought this too, but I’m learning that even in some red states the frum communities are usually within a blue bubble within the red state.
Thanks for the many suggestions! I’m a little surprised some cities were mentioned because to me they don’t seem to meet the criteria, but maybe I need to do more research.

Your criteria is not difficult at all IMO. You got tons of great suggestions.
