I have a basic 8 qt. Crockpot (Crock-pot Oval Manual Slow Cooker, 8 quart, Stainless Steel (SCV800-S) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019.....psc=1)
But I find that it cooks unevenly. Usually very very high when it’s set to low and last week suddenly it was barely boiling! Any recommendations? Links appreciated. I don’t make cholent but I like to cook other meats for shabbos lunch.

Hamilton Beach is the way to go. They cook well, and evenly.
