Trying to write a short poem for a friend who had her first boy... when I write something for baby girl, I usually refer to the "princess" and mention how her life will fill with ruffles and bows...

Need something for boys, but I'm blank. Can anyone help? (Hope I explained what I need clearly...)

I personally would like to see either gender with a poem about a life filled with mitzvos and love than anything much external.

Cars and trucks, zzooommm, hard hats, hatzloloh vests, toolbox.
If you want to get spiritual, you can talk about milestones, like bris, tzitiz, yarmulke, upsherin, bar mitzvah, tefillin, little tzaddikel, learning etc..

I personally try to keep it very light and just talk about the fun stuff...

That sounds really sweet. What about a prince with strings (tzitzis) and black and white (yeshivish attire) in his future? Or yarmulke, something about cutting off his curls?
