My baby is nine months old. When she was born one dr in the hospital mentioned a slight tongue tie. My pediatrician did not think I should do anything about it. She does not take bottles and gags on lots of food. She also is having recurring ear infections. I’m looking for recommendations for someone that would check her out and see if her issues are related and if I should take any action.

I really appreciate your help. Do you have personal experience with her? Does she take insurance.

My kids have ties. There is literally no one competent in Lakewood. Shira, mentioned above is an option. For a baby though, I might consider going to Chaya Lighten in Highland Park. She's a lactation consultant.

Yes, I used her but not for an infant. She takes insurance but not jersey care.

just curious, why would you recommend Chaya over Shira? Also my baby is nursing fine, will a lc still be the place to go?
