I currently have an old ceiling fan in my master bedroom, and I want to update the lighting. I originally thought that I should do a new (non-fan) fixture, but now I was thinking that I should do spots?
Whats the current trend?
Also any suggestion for nice master bedroom lighting fixtures?

Do what you like. I have spots in the corners and a center fixtures. My favorite feature is that all the lights are on dimmers.

Spotlights/potlights is the most unflattering light. Take a picture of yourself underneath a spotlight and you'll see shadows under your eyes and in all the wrong places. Then take a picture of yourself near a floor or desk lamp and see the difference.
