Does anyone have any QUICK, SIMPLE possible fixes I can try? It's shabbos at 430 so I can't devote a lot of time but if you have any ideas that can be done in 10 minutes I am open.
We love tea on shabbos

Can you put boiled water in a pan and keep on the hotplate all shabbos?
I'm not sure if you can leave it for shabbos day though

Yes that would be the obvious solution. Pot with lid on a blech or hot plate. You can take water from it on shabbos and put pot back following laws of chazarah. Meaning have in mind to put pot back on blech, don't let go of pot handle.

Thanks. I know about blech but was sort of hoping that someone has a quick fix for the urn itself.
