In order to stack 2 machines, you need either
1. a stacking kit (so then the machines need to be from the same brand and work with the stacking kit that is used to secure them together)
2. installation kit for the upper machine, and someone can anchor it safely to your wall

I currently have 2 lg's stacked.
I need a new washing machine and there is no way I'm getting another LG.
What are my options?

Call your trusted appliance repair guy and ask him what he suggests

Of course you can. Make sure they’re the same width and length and tell the appliance store that you need them to install it with a stacking kit. They should be able to secure it for you.
