A clip or necklace ID card for the aide.
Maybe a bun and glasses, why not?

Is it just me - I don’t think this is funny. The bubbie and Zaydie idea is fine but is it proper to make of fun of their infirmities.

Omg! That’s really next level!
What exactly is considered making fun here? Am I missing something? Scratching Head

I agree that it’s in poor taste.

Oh come on! There's nothing wrong with dressing as an aide, no one is making fun of anyone. I think it's a cute idea. It's no different then dressing up as a doctor or nurse.

I guess I could see how you'd feel that way if you believe that there's something shameful or embarrassing about the elderly needing help. I don't see it that way. We're all going to get old (hopefully!). It's a stage of life like any other. I don't see it as improper.

I'm just finding a fascinating social reflection that elderly grandparents automatically have an aide. I didn't grow up in this world, and know many elderly people, including my own 97 year old grandmother who don't have or need an aide.
