How can I make a pair of boots feel more snug? A smaller size would be too small.

I tried a heavy insole (Dr Scholls) and its too tight, a thin insole is just a little loose.

Any other tips?

Two pairs of socks. You can so try the inserts that are only by the toes.

I read online to wear heavy socks, but wearing heavy socks may stretch the boot even more and then I have to wear the heavy socks all the time.

If heavy socks stretches the boots instead of making it fit on you, then how can the boots be big?

Good question, they just dont feel snug... like all my other boots.

The socks can do either or. Either make it snug for you, or stretch the boot. There are different thickness of socks you can buy to make the situation work for you.

True, Ill try wearing them outdoors with the thin innersole first and see how they feel and if I feel like theyre moving around too much..

You should really try the smaller size. It may open up enough after wearing it around the house with thick socks for 2 hours.

Thanks. Smaller size isnt available and I think the thin innersole will do it. If I need more Ill go to 2 thin innersoles..
