My second grader just started enjoying to read. She's read all Bernstain Bears and Curious George books we have and wants more to read.
Any recommendations? Which Jewish books in the market are age appropriate?

I'm not familiar with these, but I'll look into them. Thanks!
I was looking for Mimmy and Simm books that I remember from my times but they're out of print. Anyone knows of similar type of books available?

In Jewish books my early reader is reading the Rikki Benenfeld picture books, and maybe look for shimi shambone.

PJ Pepperjay
Indoor Fishing - M. Jakubowics
Shifra Glick and Rachel Stein have some nice chapter books - check out the frum publishers, I don't remember who.
Meish Goldish has a lot of interesting non fiction books - animals and history - on the Menucha site.
Menucha Fuchs has chapter books. (The Banana Peel Slip Up and more)

Just beware- there is one Frog and Toad that has “shut up” in it. I forgot which book it is.
While it wouldn’t bother me for an older child, I wouldn’t want my 6yo reading it.
