I’m pregnant and me and my husband plan to name our daughter Balia as a first name after my grandmother. We can’t find a good middle name that goes with it. Does anyone have any suggestions for middle names that go with Balia. Baila as the first name not the middle name. Also is it more common to spell it Bayla or Balia. Thank you

It's spelled Baila or Bayla. I don't think there's one way that is more common, it's a matter of preference. Baila works as a second name as well, such as Chana Baila or Chaya Baila.

Baila is a tofu name; aside from Kayla, Rayla, Taylor and Bella, I can't think of any name that would be a bad shidduch with it.

You said you want Bayla first so take any name dankbar gave you and just switch it around, Bayla Chaya, Bayla Rochel, Bayla Sarah. I like Bayla Esther but mostly like Bayla followed with a name that starts with a consonant. No to Bayla Orly, Bayla Ora, Bayla Orit, Bayla Ayala, Bayla Aliza, Bayla Ahava, Bayla Osnat. I like Bayla Rina, Bayla Dena, Bayla Shira and Bayla Lital.

Just curious why you a need to have a second name? Is there something to it or just preference?

Yes! Bailarina --pronounced BYE-la-REE-na--means "dancer" in Spanish. Not a bad name, at that.
