who lost her mother. Or a book for myself to answer her many questions. Out of town, so no Jewish book stores. Thank you.

I have never read the book, but I've seen it mentioned in a few publications. It wouldn't be something to read to a child, but may help with answers

Sarah Rivkah Kohn, of Links and Shloime's Club, has a whole list of recommended books. The book posted above, I know she likes.
She also has tons of non-Jewish books that she's reviewed.
Maybe you can find that on her Instagram account. (I don't know how to use Instagram)

Little Links of Pearls in the LINKS program for girls that age.
In NY/NJ, they have in-person events.
Otherwise, they have a newsletter.

I don’t know if this is relevant but there is a book called “the cancer that wouldn’t go away”.
