Most legal playgroups offer extended hours to accommodate working mom's. Generally 8:30- 4:00-4:30.

To be honest, most people who work full time really need 8:30 to 5:30. Most full-time jobs are 9:00 to 5:00 so this allows them to get to work in time and hopefully come home in time.

I always have to adapt my schedule according to my kids schedules since I couldn't find places to go later.

consider charging the max DSS/Childcare Subsidy amount you can charge in Rockland County. Not sure what that is.

Morah Chany Altman is open 830-530 (chestnut ridge) specifically for working parents.

Yes I agree FT working mother's day care hours would.need to be 8-6 or so for someone working 9-5 to account for commuting time. In Brooklyn the best for accommodating working mother's that I found were in flatbush. Other places did 830-430 and that doesn't cut it.. hatzlacha raba in opening your place!

There are two legal daycares in monsey that run from 8:30-5:30. Both charge $1000 a month. There is a HUGE need for more of these.

Morah chani Altman is AMAZING but she is 2/3 year olds and is located in clarkstown now. She’s $1000 a month this year but I think she’s going to $1200 next year. She has 4/5 morahs besides for her and she serves all three meals but does not provide diapers. She’s open all legal holidays and most of the days before yt. She is super phenomenal and has an amazing program. She does have a lot of children who’s parents are all more than happy to pay her rates for her hours (8:30-5:30.)

Just texted Morah Chany Altman to ask if I can share her number.
Like previous poster stated, she's open 830 till 530 (Friday until 12) and is open many days that Jewish schools are closed. Is open legal holidays as well.
She has some 18+ month olds but it's mostly 2 and 3 year olds

$1000 for nine hours is not a lot. That’s about $6 per hour.

That is a mind blowing number. Not the standard in monsey at all for legal. I’ve heard legal is about $800 a month. I pay $500 for not a legal place
