Wondering (for fun) what other ima's routines are after kids in bed iyh. Like do you give yourself a treat, go out to a shiur, etc.? Chat w husband, work from home, you name it.

Not always but tonight I put raw chocolate chip cookies in the oven and sat and ate them with tea before I start dishes, laundry, shower, etc. Bh! Curious where my other chocolate chip cookie lovers are at Smile Hope it's all good things Smile

You're kids are little;)

I'm in bed before my kids. I miss the quiet evenings!

Choclate chip cookies are literally my weakness! After the kids go to bed I promptly roll into my own bed.

Right?! Ever since corona hot showers have taken on a new therapeutic quality in my life. It's how I dealt with the lockdowns and just continued to be a wonderful daily pattern now. So nice you have cozy evenings! Smile

Same. I have to pretend to be asleep so my kids will keep quiet (if I'm lucky).

Pack up knapsacks, sweep, clear table, sometimes wash dishes, prep clothing.

If dh not home/busy call my mom or grandma, or watch great British baking show, or browse here/ali/check the news.

Hoping to get a new partner in Torah soon.

I do usually eat a bit of a snack every night because I eat with my kids at 7 and go to sleep after midnight... Leftovers, a fruit, cake from the freezer...

Some housework (although I'm usually too tired to do much at that point and I end up leaving most of it for dh when he comes home from learning/maariv)

I try to catch up on paperwork for my job

I return any missed calls or make any overdue phone calls

I spend time with my baby who does not get much attention when I'm busy with the other kids in the afternoon

Mostly though it's my time to chill and I browse this site and others like kosher.com, between carpools, insta/twitter, watch news clips, listen to podcasts etc
