Waiting for redemption

I am amazed at my son, I wasn't sure where to put this. But I wanted to share.

Tonight I was reading a book to my 3 year old son and in it is a picture of the Beis haMikdash and an army on in its wat to destroy (chanukah book)

This affected my son beyond words. After the story he was staring at the picture, asking Is this the Kosel where we daven? Is it Tisha B'av? Where is the Beis HaMikdash now? We got into the discussion about Mashiach and that when he comes the beis HaMikdash will be rebuilt. He kept asking: Is he here? I said, No we have to do more mitzvos...He said, But I do negel vasser etc. etc. I explained every Jew....etc.

Long story short: Every two minutes: Is Mashiach here? With tears in his eyes he said: "Mommy Why hasnt he come? I sing Am Yisroel everyday."

My heart was breaking, first of all what a pure soul...what a beautiful neshama....what if we all really felt this way? Is Hashem listening to this little boy who is crying that the Beais HaMikdash isnt here for us...

thing is, what are you going to do now? how will you sustain his interest? would be a great pity to say "how sweet" and then have him forget about it, right?

Thank You Motek, I knew there was a reason I posted this....Any suggestions are welcome. This morning I printed out pictures of the Kohen Gadol and of the Beis Hamikdash (thank you google images!)

and we used his blocks to build the BH'M and we taped in the pictures, we also searched through every Rebbe video we had this morning for "we want mashiach now!" songs...

Any good videos with the beis HaMikdash in it?
