Can anyone recommend a book with step-by-step painting directions for teenagers? DD just got into painting. She's pretty good at it, just wants a little direction and ideas. She's been to some paint night events and really enjoyed it. Any ideas?

There's nothing like a teacher to provide feedback though. If you say your location you may get recommendations for painting classes in your area.

Not looking for a class. We’re specifically looking for something she can do on her own whenever she feels like it. She’s not interested in learning how to do it, it’s just something she enjoys, finds it relaxing, something to do when she wants some quiet downtime.

We’ve been doing that, but I’d rather she shouldn’t have to go online for this.

I love her tutorials. We’ve done many of them as a family.

Either you can pay her for a a pdf
Or I’ve just printed the contents of the page of the directions and done it offline.

She had full painting projects or tutorials on specifics - like tree branches.

Wow, thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for!! DD will love it!
I think I’ve actually been on this site before and watched one of her videos. I hadn’t realized that if you scroll down there’s written instructions as well.
Thank you Sky!
