My kids are being farmer and chickens.

I’m a grandmother. I assure you, a sincerely worded prose note of thanks—but, please,not “for everything” which is meaningless, but for specifics: last-minute babysitting, chicken soup, Chanuka gelt, reading books to the kids, whatever—will warm the cockles of my heart way way way more than a so-called poem. Poems almost always sound insincere at best, cheesy at worst.
