Why does it matter what in if it doesn't fit your face?
Granted I don't really understand a whole lot about following what's in and trendy. But if it really doesn't suit your face I mean just get what suits your face I don't understand this...

I don’t understand either. My first thought was that whatever the stores are selling is what’s in, because why would they sell something if it isn’t in?

Trending where?
I live in a large frum in town community the glasses Torres have the new and trending ones in front of the store displayed separately. Thin wire gold with a double bridge are one of the very trending looks here now. I go for more classy neat subtle yet trendy look so that's what I took. I'm also slight and very fair colored.

There will always be those that go for thicker or more out of the box types of looks... If that's your style...
