?
We're too busy to cook on Thursday this week, because this year Thursday is purim.

I think it means, if only we didn't have to eat food on Shabbos. Then we wouldn't have to stress about the extra cooking!

Oh right, the correct way to say that would be 'can we go without eating' 😅😂

I doubled whatever I was able to last week.
Whatever’s not, I’ll have to wing on Friday.

Same hope here!

And I made challah and potato kugel Sunday to stick in the freezer. Will probably buy some takeout Friday if we need. I can't think beyond that right now

Challah and soup I have in the freezer. Chicken I prepped a little while ago and froze raw. I will take that out on Thursday, stick in the fridge and have one of my kids who are all home Friday sitck it in the oven at some point. I'm bringing sides to the purim seudah so I'm making extra of those for my family for shabbos (will do some of that tomorrow after work and some Thursday morning). Chulent I'll prepare Thursday night when we get home from the seudah, will put in the fridge overnight and put in the crockpot before I leave for work on Friday. So all that leaves is the gefillte fish. I think I'll cook that Thursday morning too.
This post was actually helpful. It made me lay it all out so now I have a game plan in writing.
