I also live in Florida and I got zero babkas, from the approx 100 we received. Still have some in the freezer from previous food boxes though Wink.

None. We got chips, tons of Mike and Ikes, and almost no chocolate. Literally that’s what’s done in my community.

OK. The next question is how many chocolate platters did you get??

I got at least 5. I can't check now because I'm in a babka coma. Drunken Smile

Zero, but I got 3 OH Nuts platters in varying sizes. One from a close friend of mine, one from a close friend of DH, both friends have a lot of Hakaras HaTov to us for various reasons. And one from my parents who also live in a different city.

One but it was a hakaras hatov MM not a regular MM.

I have a new friend who moved to our large OOT community from the Tri-State area and her MM were much fancier than the norm here…I enjoyed her MM but felt bad I hadn’t thought to warn her that most people here do pretty basic.

[quote="amother [ Impatiens ]"]I didn't get any.
I got one cherry pie, and one coffee and cookies. Both were very much appreciated.
I got a cute little salami board which was creative, beautiful and tasty.
I got a fourth mm that was a snack and a flavor smirnoff, to match a theme.

Did you get mishloach manos from me? Wink
This is exactly what I gave, but not matching to no themes !

I have never received a babka. MM in my community tends to be much simpler, typically a few snacks in a gift bag.

None. Which is good because we don't really like babka. Maybe if it's super fresh and gooey.

NY area, got 0 babkas,
a couple chocolate platters from students and a bunch of bottles of wine,
but other than students, we only give about 30 to neighbors, friends, and family,
and most we get back are simple homemade foods that we would be happy to eat or some snacks,
ended up with a bunch of boxes of waferrolls and the crispy crepe cookies, and some popinsanity but my kids are happy to take those for snack
we won't be shopping for any snacks until pesach

Homemade foods I got this year-
I got chocolate chip cookies from 4 people, chocolate chip biscotti from another, crinkle cookies from a 6th, challah from another, peanut chews from 2 people, and a fruit salad from a 10th. All these from neighbors, btw. I also got a cupcake from my sis. But no babka.
