I’ve lived in Brooklyn NY my entire life…
My family lives here …very very important for me to be near my family … we were making it here just fine.
Very recently , because of some major life changing events, our finances were drained. Completely . We are suddenly living paycheck to paycheck and our paychecks are not enough to cover the insane cost of rent for our tiny two bedroom apartment .
My husband would live out of town in a heartbeat … somewhere with more affordable housing … I don’t want to live too far from Brooklyn. I want to be able to come to my parents for shabbos regularly .
Any ideas??

I think it takes time to get used to the idea of moving OOT. I would say, give it some time, keep your options open. Don't make such a big decision in haste.
