I also think that many times when people post they don't give over the full picture, making it impossible for anyone to give real concrete advice. How often do we see posts like: "Help, my son doesn't listen and is so wild, what should I do?"

Or, I suspect that my student is being abused because she stares at the wall a lot.
(Three weeks later):
Oh! I forgot to add, I saw her father hit her over the head with a beer bottle.
