I don't see why not, but it would probably depend on the oven...

Do they automatically shut off after a certain time? Anyway to avoid this?

Ask a Rav here if your oven can be kashered for Pesach. Many rabbanim (chareidi/yeshivish) in Israel hold they cannot be.

It probably depends on the brand. You might want to try calling the manufacturer.

You mean timer? Usually the other side of the timer is no timer.
My oven has a shabbat mode button. Something to look for...

Is it self cleaning? If it isn't, most people don't use their ovens on Pesach.

No one I know has a self cleaning oven and everyone I know uses their oven for pesach.
OP, you can Google the make and model of the oven for instructions.
You do realize that everyone in Israel has different ovens, right? Mine is Italian.
Most people I know use a plata for shabbat and chag and don't leave their oven on. It's much easier.

Lol, do the ovens in America stay on? Doesn’t it largely depend on the oven and not what country the oven is in? So confused

If it's Siemens it might well have Sabbath mode (really should be called "chag mode"...) which lets you leave it on for up to 72 hours.

Your best bet is to google the model number and find the on-line manual because each oven is different.
You might find the model number inside the oven, when you open the door, on a sticker on the side, or somewhere else in/on the oven.
Alternately, go into the Siemens website and try to match up the picture with the models listed there and then find the manual.

Sorry! I thought it was universal. My father is a YU educated Rabbi and we would only use a non self cleaned oven on Pesach with an insert. Can't imagine using an insert in Israel. There would be no oven left!!

You would only use a non self cleaning? This is an interesting shittah! I’ve never met or heard of ANY rabbi anywhere in the world that would say yes to regular oven and no to self cleaning… makes no sense!
