My brother is looking for a job for the summer. He doesn't want to work in a camp. Anyone know of anything? It doesn't have to be specificly new york, but he would need a place to stay.

Check out Oppenheimers in Fleishmanns, NY. It's a heimish place run for gazillions of years. Work there is hard but there is room and board and tips. My son made a small fortune working there two summers in a row.

ds also worked for a few summmers upstate with friends and they had their own apt and a real scene going on.
