It’s been going on for about 2-3 weeks. What can be the cause and what can I do to treat it?
No I did not change detergent lately. It itches all day and gets worse at night and doesn’t let her sleep.

Tinea. You should be able to get cream for it from the chemist. You usually have to put it on for two to three weeks.

Could be fungus or a liver issue. Did you take her to her pediatrician?

Shoes can be the cause too. What does your child wear on a daily basis?

That's right. If the material is not breathable, it may cause fungus.

This can include wearing crocs or natives.

Agree it could be fungus. Let her go barefoot and make sure she's wearing cotton socks or tights, not synthetic fabric. It's the socks, not the shoes, that matter most.

Athletes foot?
Wash feet well, dry off and let it get plenty of air.
