I want to place ad for our shul dinner. Our rabbi, her husband, passed away a few years ago. Rebbetizin who is being honored by our shul. Do we include him in the tribute? I am not good with words and I'm not sure how to word it. She is quiet and has been behind the scenes with shul and community.

She spent a lifetime in his shadow and now she's finally getting her due appreciation. Please, write the ad about her and the good things she has done.

She may appreciate her husband being mentioned in the ad with a nice "l'ilui nishmas Rabbi XX".
But the main part of the ad should definitely be about her.
