Whatever you do, don’t go to Walmart
They did not let me pick up my pictures. They insisted I was stealing from the photographer
Go to a frum place
There a photo store next to Shloimy’s (kennnedy blvd)
I developed few pictures there and they were expensive at all

I made beautiful picture books on Shutterfly for a friend after her Simcha, and did a book for my father and my sister's in-laws after my nephew's Bar Mitzva. I also did a book for my grandmother - she should live to 120 - after my sister's wedding, and several family members ended up ordering it for themselves as well.

I used to work for a photographer who also only provided a usb to clients. They recommended that ppl print their proofs in Costco as they felt the quality was best

Shutterfly, Costco, Walmart, cvs etc.. all are horrible. I seriously want to cry as a photographer when I see the nasty colors and quality of my client’s pictures. Use a place that has quality control and uses professional machines like mpix. Why spend money on professional pictures and then print it in horrible colors?

I've never heard of mpix. I'm in middle of creating a Shutterfly book for my son's bar mitzvah. Does mpix do layflat books? Or maybe I'll just do the wall prints from mpix. Any suggestions what type of pictures to print for the wall? Not acrylic, but I don't really want to do traditional frames either.
