Hi. I have 2 grandmother's I can name after. I don't like either name but and willing to go with a cute nickname for either. Please share with me your creative ideas. I'm open to anything.

Both beautiful names!
Are you planning on using both? Or choosing one?
I like full names and would use as is, but you can always say Chani, Chanala, Tzippy

I once met a little girl tzipporah who was called poppy.
I think that’s really cute. I don’t know if her parents called her that from the start or it’s one of those nicknames that evolved.

Tzippi is very often used for Tziporah, and Chany for Chana both are very cute nicknames

I'm not a fan of either name but do feel the pressure to give one. I also don't like the typical nicknames. Any options for not so typical nicknames?

For Tzipora, besides for the typical ones, I've heard:
Poppy (as in the flower)
or
Popi (pronounced po-pi)
or
Pori
or
Po
For Chana, might be a different name, or a combined name but I've her Chanita

Tzipa is a different name. It means light Tzipora is bird. I know many people think it’s the same but it is different.

please think of your daughter when calling her by a nickname.
I do not think any girl would mind being called Chany or chana depends which community your in.
But many girls would resent some of the nicknames mentioned.
