I got offered a supervisor position in my department. I have been there for a few years and currently make $30per hour. Located in Brooklyn. How much can I ask for in such a position?

Can you be more specific what responsibilities entail and hours...? You might get more targeted answers...

Do you have to clock in and out and get paid by the hour? Paid lunch break?
Can you work few hours at night if need be if you need to take a day off?
Can you switch to salary?
Are you getting insurance?
Do you get paid for Yom Tov?
Paid vacation and sick days?
These things may be more valuable than an hourly raise.

Yes. Paid Yom tov. Lots of off days per year. I can work nights if I need. I really don't know what's reasonable to ask for as I was never in this position before and don't want to be taken advantage of but at the same time I don't want to ask for too much that they look for someone else.

It's better to get paid more in the long run so you can keep moving up even though you are loosing benefits.
you will feel better about yourself and be able to provide and make more!

Hmmm
Careful about losing the benefits

Maybe ask for four days a week instead of five
