Is anyone on here from Houston, I was looking into Houston as a possible place to move to but I was reading online and it says that Houston is "sinking" is that true?

LOL huh? Not the last time I looked out the window. Do you mean that we flood? We do get floods from time to time but thankfully the main frum area is not susceptible to flooding

OP Here I was reading online about the climate of Houston and it was talking about how Houston is sinking and that it's built on a swamp.
What is it like living in Houston is there transportation or do you have to drive everywhere?
Are places walkable?
What type of community is it?
Are there jobs available like management positions in health care offices?
What is the weather like all year?

I don't know the frum community very well, but I've been to Houston a fair bit. It is not walkable, and the heat in summer would discourage you even if you could. Health care is a huge industry, but it's more centralized.
