Came across this timely email from last year and am bumping it up. I hope this post won't get negative feedback, but please know that Rebbeim don't usually get paid their usual salary over the summer and it can get hard financially even if they get a summer job.

Therefore, If anyone wants to know what gift to give a rebbi at the end of the school year, please give them cash or a check! I am a Rebbi's wife and we always struggle financially. Money is the most useful gift you can give. Thank you.
