Hi, any ideas of a place me and my DH can go away for Shabbos? Anywhere in the tri-state area?
Best would be a house near a minyan with outdoor option...

There's a site, hotelsnearshuls.com. It's very old, but it has listing of hotels that are walking distance to a shul.

There are tons of options. Think of a few places you're interested in going, then get the addresses of the shuls there, then check AirBNB and VRBO to try to find a place less than a mile from the shul that's available for your dates and reasonably priced with good reviews.

What about the embassy suites? Theres minyan in the hotel. Or you can do the ocean place or the wave in deal its walking distance to shul

How does that work out with the electronic doors on shabbos?

Op, would you go to the Raleigh hotel?

The embassy gives tape to put on the doors. The wave has shabbos keys. Not sure about the ocean place but assuming they have shabbos keys too
