Use soft soles like robeez or even socks unless they're outside.

Any advice? He’s been walking like a pro for a while already and now refuses to take a single step without me holding his hand while the shoes are on. I’m going crazy! |
My kids are the same way. The first 2-3 weeks I get them shoes I only put them on when I'm going out. That's how they're slowly getting used to having something on the foot. It's not necessarily the shoe. They're not used to having this (what is to babies) bothersome thing on their foot. I take it off as soon as I come home.
