For storage-
Not for something we need to be able to grab (that definitely goes in garage) but something that may be longer term-
Attic access is through a rickety ladder but items in garage have gotten moldy.
I’m talking storage stuff like pesach dishes and towels, extra games/toys, car seats, cribs and stroller not currently used and other random things.
We recently dumped a moldy port-a crib, double stroller and 2 pack n plays.
How do you do storage? (If you have the options... trust me, I know what it is like with no space and storage too...)

We only keep things made for outdoors in our garage because it's totally not weatherproof.
Anything that has a set time of year (winter clothes, pesach dishes etc) is in the attic. Things we need on a random basis for company (extra high chair, port a crib, baby bouncer) is in the basement or a kids closet

Strollers and pack n plays should be stored in the attic.
Pesach dishes that aren't affected by mold should be stored in heavy plastic storage containers in the garage. Make it easier on yourself to bring in the dishes and pack them up afterwards to ground level.

OP, I store all of what you mentioned in the attic.
We keep outdoor toys, sukka, folding tables & chairs in the garage.

Thanks everyone for replies.
Do y’all have better/easier access to your attic? It’s so hard to maneuver heavy stuff in there...

Regular attic access.... an old ladder that gets pulled down. Taking/bringing things from the attic is a 2 person job.

Would it be worth it to you to put in better access for the attic, such as a pull down set of stairs or a sturdier ladder?
Found this list online, no clue how good these are =
