If I remember correctly, when my seminary went to amuka on a tiyul our tour guide Reb Yaakov told us there isn’t really any clear source for the segula. Can’t hurt to daven there though.

I remember my seminary principal telling us that many places of davening in EY don't have real sources to them, but have become places of kedusha because of all the tefillos davened there over the years.

lol we also went with R' Yaakov!

He said a joke about a group of seminary girls who were davening for a really long time at Amuka and the tour guide needed to move on so he told them "If you daven any longer you'll get married twice" LOL
