On hot summer days instead of making dinner in the oven use the crockpot or a George Foreman which don't give off heat.
Definitely put in a flat fan that pulls the air from the kitchen to outside.

Yup limit your oven use. Make quick stir frys or or toaster oven, or crock pot etc
