It's hard. We don't allow bad language. There are consequences. But my daughter takes her medication. If she didnt...well I don't want to imagine that nightmare. We had a few weeks recently when she was overwhelmed in school and acted out. We just had to be patient and remember she is suffering more than we are. If she hurts anyone she goes to her room. She hates being alone.

What kind of consequences? Does it actually work? How old is your daughter? My kid is 15, if he refuses to go to his room there’s no really much I can do other than remove the other kids to a safer place.
