Just bought a smallish one for my kids. I was planning on using it once a week or for up to an hour each time. Will my water bill go up sky high? Its high as it is and can't afford much more but I thought it would be a great water activity for my kids since we're one of the only ones on our block without a pool...

Depends how much you use it! Once a day for half an hour isn't much more than showering for an hour. If you have it on 4 hours a day then yes.

Look at the pump’s specs to see how much water it puts out in gallons per minute, then multiply by the number of minutes you’ll be running it to get the total gallons. Then look at your water bill or the water company’s website to find out how much they will charge for it.

Make sure it’s hooked up to your sprinkler system - which only uses water not sewer- and not using water sewer meter… if you have separate.

I have a pool and it actually doesn’t really significantly increase my water bill (don’t worry I pay for it in other ways).
